MacBook Pro

Hey all,

my laptop got stolen recently (Sony Vaio) and I am about to buy a new one. I have followed the discussion earlier, about a new laptop, but there is nobody really going into detail with respect to Apple there. I am planning to get the Apple MacBook Pro 15", and I was wondering whether anyone uses the same machine? I use Cubase, Reason and some VST's, can anyone tell me whether the technical requirements for the MacBook are satisfied, and whether you are pleased with your choice?

Thanks!
david

Re: MacBook Pro

Why do YOU want a mac?
Are you into design?
Is there any specific reason why you would want to pay more if you basically don't need anything specific mac has to offer?

The operation of Cubase SX under Mac OS X is, perhaps unsurprisingly, pretty much identical to the operation of Cubase SX under Windows XP.

Beste lezers,

Reason is also Mac compatible of course.

As far as operating systems VST Technology is semi cross platform so you need separate installations if you want to run it on PC/Mac/Linux. The majority of plugins are available on PC, major companies on Mac and there are a few on Linux.

Re: MacBook Pro

Hi,
Apple MacBook  are great in functionality and too easy to use. It is having a great compatibility features, need not worry about VST Technology, there are lot of plugins to support it.
